1. Download and Extract WordPress

2. Make the Database and a User
Most hosting providers already set up a WordPress database for your use. Others might offer a solution that gives automatic setup. To determine this, check your provider’s support pages or your own control panel.
If you need to do a manual setup, look for resources on how to use phpMyAdmin. These will help make your username and database for WordPress. Other tools you can use include:

Do you have an existing database in use? If so, you can put WordPress in it. You need to take certain precautions to ensure that your tables don’t get overwritten. The best practice is to use distinct prefixes for the tables.
3. Set Up wp-config.php

Most of the fields are self-explanatory. For DB_HOST, you might need to put a port, socket, or pipe. If so, you can append a colon and write the required information to the hostname.
Finishing this section, you can look for the section labeled * Authentication Unique Keys and Salts. Put in your secret key values and save the wp-config.php file as soon as you’re done.
4. Upload Files
In this step, you need to decide on the location of the WordPress-powered website. Ask yourself whether it’s going to appear in the root directory or a subdirectory of your website. This determines how this process will go through.
If you’re putting it in the root directory, you can use an FTP client. Don’t upload the directory itself—rather, put the contents in the root directory itself. If it’s on the subdirectory, upload or your files to your web server and rename the WordPress directory to its appropriate name.
5. Run the Install Script
Run your web browser and look for the “install.php” file in either the root directory or in the subdirectory. As soon as it starts up, it will go smoothly if you already set up the wp-config.php file in step three.
Otherwise, WordPress will ask you details about your database. If everything goes as intended, it will write a new wp-config.php file for you. You can proceed with the installation afterward.
6. Finishing Touches
The script will ask you to put some details about your website, like the title, the username you want, the password, and your email address. It also asks you if you’d like to appear in Google or other search engines.
